Belinda specializes in arts marketing, brand development, strategic communications and media relations. She is an award-winning journalist, a graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Journalism, and holds a certificate in Marketing from UC Berkeley. She was inaugural Director of the California Art Council’s Arts Marketing Institute, 2002-2005 following nine years as editor and marketing director at Theatre Bay Area in San Francisco. In her journalism career she served as editor of The Montclarion and associate editor and columnist at the Oakland Tribune She is also the author of the award-winning play “Becoming Julia Morgan.”
Services: Today Belinda works with small and mid-size organizations and individual artists to develop marketing solutions with an emphasis on brand identity based on core values. She offers 30 years experienced leadership in both the non-profit and private sectors at the local, regional and state levels, with a background that includes executive/senior management, arts integrated learning, marketing, branding and communications, and project coordination.

- Writes and helps implement marketing plans, media strategies and pr
- Shapes brand identity working with client
- Conducts marketing and branding workshops
- Leads retreats for nonprofit and government agencies
- Designs and facilitates focus groups
- Implements qualitative research through one-on-one interviews and small group discussions
